What we do

We compare named Reuben sandwiches in San Francisco and nearby Bay Area communities. Our directory connects menu ingredients, prices, photographs and locations, so you can choose corned beef or pastrami, a particular rye, and the dressing you prefer. Other cities are coming soon.

Our research approach

Restaurant menus and official ordering pages are our starting points for ingredients and prices. We keep each branch and meat option separate, and link supporting sources. A menu-listed sandwich has menu evidence; unconfirmed and historical items are distinguished in the directory.

Our guides are published by Find My Reuben using source research and editorial comparison. Unless explicitly stated, they are not accounts of personal tasting visits. We do not invent sensory experiences, star scores or claims to have tried every sandwich. The SF guide explains why each sandwich fits a particular preference.

Reviews and photography

Google and Yelp stars describe the restaurant, not its Reuben. Links to Reuben-specific reviews are separate. Photos include source credits; an image does not prove an unlisted ingredient. Chain or promotional photographs are identified where that context is known.
